This stunner has a heavily veined, textured, velvety, large, heart-shaped leaf with burgundy underneath. With a vining-growth habit, it sometimes produces pink or white flowers. It is hemiepiphyte in nature, meaning as the vine climbs upwards, it will spend some of its life without roots touching the ground, so good aeration and a well-draining soil for the plant overall is essential. It likes warm conditions and plenty of humidity (they look stunning in a bathroom climbing up a moss pole) with medium to bright light. Mix a substrate like coco coir, orchid bark or peat moss into the potting mixture. They need a bit more care than the average
